Button ulcer of hog cholera
This is an acute febrile infection due to swine cholera virus that belongs to Pestivirus in
Flaviviridae. The death rate is high. A domestic animal infectious disease controlled by law.
This ulcer is observed in the swine cecum and colon, and its shape resembles a button of clothes.
This ulcer is characteristic of intestinal lesions of subacute or chronic swine cholera. Cecum.
