Mummy fetus
A dead fetus that remained in the uterine lost water and, together with the fetal
membrane, became atrophied like leather, i.e., underwent mummification. This condition
occurs when amniotic fluid flows out or is absorbed, but the fetus is not affected by the
action of saprogens.
